Microsoft is partnering up with NBA 2K22 and the New York Liberty professional WNBA club to give one lucky fan the chance to shoot a half-court shot worth $1 million during a future game.

The Xbox $1 Million Half-Court Shot sweepstakes challenge is the name of the tournament. Anyone in the United States aged 13 or older may participate by tweeting or sharing a video of NBA 2K22 gameplay containing a half-court shot with the hashtag #1MillionXboxShotSweepstakes on Twitter or Instagram.

One winner will be picked at random and will get a paid trip to New York City, tickets to a Liberty game on July 23, and the chance to win $1 million by making a half-court jumper.

Sabrina Ionescu, a member of the New York Liberty, wrote on her blog, “NBA2K players have been talking a lot, and now it’s time for them to show us what they’ve got on the big stage. I’ll be keeping an eye on everything.”

Anyone with a Microsoft Rewards account may redeem points or earn more entries by completing an Xbox punch card. More information is available here.
