The Xbox Game Pass subscription service shows no signs of slowing off. Since 2022, it’s been continuing strong all year, adding major hit after great hit. This contains titles like Mass Effect: Ultimate Edition, Weird West, Tunic, Life is Strange: True Colors and a plethora of others. At the Xbox and Bethesda Titles Showcase on June 9, Microsoft will also showcase new games coming to the service.

Three new titles were introduced to Xbox Game Pass on May 10. These were Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, This War of Mine: Final Cut, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising.

Xbox Title Pass Ultimate customers may now get one more game today, May 12. It’s worth noting that the rest of May appears to be a little light on games, but Microsoft is anticipated to release more in the coming weeks.

NHL 22 will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users today in either case. A simple Xbox Game Pass membership will not suffice; instead, users will require an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription linked to their EA account. This is because NHL 22 will be available on EA Play, which is a feature of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Given that Game Pass Ultimate includes the enormous library, Xbox Live Gold advantages, and numerous additional perks like EA Play access, it’s a better deal than the regular Game Pass.

NHL 22 is, of course, a hockey simulation game, with the main difference being a new game engine and a graphical upgrade in this installment. Superstar X-Factors, new gameplay animations, new reverse hitting, new pass and shoot blocks, new pickups, increased puck protection, more goalkeeper saves, and much more are all included. Furthermore, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate players will get NHL 22 rewards like the World of Chel gear sets.

NHL 22’s Xbox Series X version has a 74 Metascore and a 4.5 user score on Metacritic. A number of the concerns appear to be directed at the engine and new features, while others believe that NHL 22 is simply a repackaged version of previous games. In any case, if you’ve been putting it off, now is definitely the best time to get out on the ice and see how you like it.

Every month, Xbox Game Pass users get a selection of titles.
