Vivo has finally confirmed the launch of its X Note and X Fold smartphones in a teaser posted to Weibo. It also includes images of Vivo’s first tablet, the Vivo Pad. According to the company, the official launch date will be announced on Monday.
Vivo X Fold
The Vivo X Fold will be the company’s first foldable phone, with an 8-inch inner folding AMOLED display on the inside and a 6.5-inch AMOLED display on the exterior. Both displays will have a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolutions, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built in.
The device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a 4,600mAh battery, quick charging, and a quad-camera system identical to the X Note.
The Vivo Pad will support stylus input and is designed for both casual and professional users, including designers and content makers. A 13MP dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera will be included. On the top right of the tablet, there will be four speakers and two microphones.
It will launch Ocean OS with an undisclosed Android version running in the background.
The tablet will include an 11-inch QHD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz with a resolution of 2560 x 160101 pixels, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with a Snapdragon 870 processor and an 8,040mAh battery with 44W rapid charging capability.
The Vivo Pad’s lack of a fingerprint scanner hints that it has a face unlock security feature.
Vivo X Note
The Vivo X Note will have a 7-inch AMOLED E5 QHD+ resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will power the phone, which will have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the back, the phone will have a quad-camera configuration with 50MP, 48MP, 12MP, and 8MP sensors.
