The open beta date for MultiVersus, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s upcoming platform fighting game, should be revealed very soon. Currently, Warner Bros. has only committed to delivering the game in beta sometime in July 2022. With the month nearly half over, however, some fans are concerned that this release date may not be fulfilled. Fortunately, due to a fresh update, it appears like we will be receiving a new statement from folks at WB in the near future.

MultiVersus has now been officially rated by the ESRB, PEGI, and other video game rating bodies throughout the world as of this week. The game is classified T in the United States for Fantasy Violence and Language. Other areas throughout the world have given the game comparable ratings, which is to be anticipated.

So, how does this MultiVersus rating relate to the game’s release date? In most cases, a game’s rating is one of the last things that happens before it is released. The fact that MultiVersus is currently being graded internationally indicates that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is getting ready to reveal launch plans in the next days or weeks. This also ensures that the deployment of the MultiVersus open beta does not fall outside of the July 2022 launch date. Plans can always change, but it appears like a release in the next weeks is still on the table.

The only thing we know for definite about MultiVersus is that it will be released in the form of an open beta that anybody may access. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
