With the launching of the new 2022 model, Samsung has refreshed its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2020). The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) features a Snapdragon processor rather than the earlier model’s Exynos chipset.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) Specifications
The design of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) is identical to that of the 2020 model. The tablet has a 10.4-inch LCD screen with visible bezels on both sides. It features a WUXGA resolution of 100 × 2000 pixels and a standard refresh rate. Its dimensions are as follows: 24.45 x 15.43 x 0.7 cm. It weighs 45 g.
The processor is the tablet’s key selling point. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC powers the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022). This is an octa-core chipset built on the 8nm process node. It is an improvement over the Exynos 9611 chipset used in the 2020 model.
It includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. The 128GB storage model will be released later. The tablet also has a microSD card slot for extra storage. It boasts AKG-tuned stereo speakers and also supports Dolby Atmos. It comes with a 7,040mAh battery and runs Android 12 out of the box. We anticipate that the tablet will receive the freshly revealed Android 13 OS in the future.
The tablet includes an 8MP single camera with autofocus on the rear. It has a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Depending on the model, the tablet supports the S Pen Stylus and comes with Wi-Fi and LTE.
