The first season of Apex Legends Mobile is in full swing, and the game’s first limited-time mode, Quick Battle, has finally arrived. The new model is already being praised as a fantastic option for users with limited time (or those who just want a good warm-up).
Quick Battle is a battle royale mode identical to Apex Legends Mobile’s conventional battle royale mode, but with a few differences. Quick Battle takes place on the World’s Edge map, just like Apex Mobile’s default battle royale mode. Quick Battle matches, unlike battle royale, start with a considerably smaller beginning ring and a lesser number of players. In each Quick Battle match, only 10 squads can load into the new LTM at once, for a total of 30 players.
To test out the new Quick Battle mode, players must first get to level 5, which may be achieved by playing a few rounds of battle royale. Players can access both Team Deathmatch and Quick Battle modes after they reach level 5. While the number of players in each Quick Battle match is lower than in a battle royale, the smaller beginning ring means that players will see each other considerably more frequently and can get into the action much faster than in a traditional battle royale.
Quick Battle is ideal for killing time when you don’t have much of it, given that the average Apex Mobile battle royale encounter can take upwards of 15 minutes to complete.
However, players must act quickly if they want to check out the mobile game’s fast-paced new mode, as Quick Battle mode is only accessible for a limited time, from May 26 to May 29–so those interested should follow Octane’s lead and try it out now “Run as quickly as possible. Hit hard and win quickly.”
Apex Legends Mobile is available on iOS and Android devices.
