The Eden Arena in Prague has been chosen to host the UEFA Europa Conference League final next season on June 7, 2023.
The facility, which is home to Slavia Praha, was opened in 2008 by Vladimr Micer and has since hosted numerous important club and international matches.
The stadium has a capacity of 20,800 people.
The 2013 UEFA Super Cup was held in the Eden Arena, with Bayern Munich defeating Chelsea 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw after 120 minutes, and it also went the distance two years later in the 2015 U21 EURO final, with Sweden defeating Portugal 4-3 on penalties.
Viktoria Plze made their UEFA Champions League group stage debut at the Eden Arena in 2011/12. More recently, the arena has witnessed Slavia Praha’s three European quarter-final appearances in four seasons, including this season’s debut in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The UEFA Executive Committee made the decision to give the 2023 final to Eden Arena on May 10, 2022, in Vienna, Austria.
On Wednesday, May 25, Roma will face Feyenoord in the first UEFA Europa Conference League final in Tirana, Albania.
