Pakistan has got to host 40 Plus Seniors Cricket World next year which will be played from September 23 to October 8 next year. There is great good news for cricket fans in the country as Pakistan has got to host the inaugural edition of the 40 Plus Seniors Cricket World Cup next year.
Twelve of the 14 registered teams will take part in the tournament, including Pakistan, India, Australia, England, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Canada, USA, Zimbabwe, Wales, Namibia, and UAE (UAE). E) are included.
Twelve teams will be selected from the final draw of the competitions before the World Cup, while the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association has also confirmed this.
Chairman Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association Fawad Ijaz Khan said that it is an honor for Pakistan to host the Seniors World Cup, the mega event will be held in a grand manner.
He said that the matches of the Seniors World Cup will be played on 6 different grounds in Karachi and one inning of each match will consist of 45 overs which will be played day and night.
Chairman Fawad Ijaz Khan further said that the semi-finals and finals would be telecast live and well-known former international cricketers over 40 years of age would also add splendor to the event.
It should be noted that the national team will be represented by Shahid Khan Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Younis Khan, and Muhammad Hafeez among other national stars.
