GungHo Online Entertainment’s free-to-play video game Ninjala is partnering up with a famous anime brand once again, with the business announcing a Tokyo Revengers partnership event. The Ninjala x Tokyo Revengers crossover is the newest anime cooperation with the video game, and it will run from July 20th through August 24th, including costumes, weapon skins, and other items inspired by the anime.
More precisely, Ninjala will receive ten distinct Tokyo Revengers-themed clothes as part of the new anime cooperation event. Outfits for Manjiro “Mikey” Sano, Ken “Draken” Ryuguji, and others are included. Additionally, from June 22nd to August 24th, unique clothes for Haruki “Pah-chin” Hayashida can be won by fighting in and winning Featured Battles.
A single victory unlocks the Haruki Hayashida hair, while three victories unlock the Haruki Hayashida outfit. You may see the special art from GungHo Online Entertainment’s announcement below:
When asked about Ninjala’s signature bubblegum concept back in 2020, GungHo president and CEO Kazuki Morishita previously told ComicBook.com, “The reality is that it’s just a thought that sprang into my brain.” “We had previously agreed on a ninja + chambara (sword combat) PvP action concept and were looking for a new game UI when I happened to suck on some gum.
I envisioned a ninjutsu technique in which bubblegum could be blown up, created, used as a missile, or altered. As a result, we invented the gum action, which became the game’s defining feature.”
As previously stated, the unique Tokyo Revengers collaborative event will take place in Ninjala on July 20th and will last through August 24th. Ninjala is now available for free on the Nintendo Switch. You can find all of our prior Ninjala coverage right here.
