New Assassin's Creed Game Reveal May Happen This Week

It seems that Ubisoft is getting ready to reveal a new Assassin’s Creed game in the near future. Ubisoft has steadily released new content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the latest installment in the open-world franchise, over the past year. While many fans have continued to play Valhalla, it appears that Ubisoft is ready to give us a taste of what is to come.

Ubisoft announced this afternoon that a new live stream dedicated entirely to Assassin’s Creed will take place tomorrow, June 14th, at 9:00 am PST/12:00 pm EST. This event is timed to coincide with the franchise’s 15th anniversary, and as such, it is intended to look back on the series’ history. However, it appears that some details about the future of Ubisoft’s larger property may also be revealed at this time.

“Assassin’s Creed is 15 years old! Tune in to celebrate the 15th anniversary with a special look at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s future, a look back at the franchise, and a tease of what’s to come this year “According to Ubisoft’s event description.

At this point, we already know that Ubisoft is hard at work on a future Assassin’s Creed game. The publisher announced Assassin’s Creed Infinity last year, but the project appeared to be quite far away from completion. In the near future, other reports indicate that a game called Assassin’s Creed Rift will be released in 2022 or 2023. This title is said to be a spin-off of Valhalla and will center on the character Basim.

It remains to be seen whether Ubisoft will be able to talk more about Infinity or Rift at this Assassin’s Creed event. In any case, it appears that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be supported for a while longer. If there are any significant developments as a result of this presentation in the coming day.
