The Google Pixel Watch wristwatch, which runs the Wear OS 3.1 operating system, is expected to be introduced shortly, according to insider Evan Blass.

Pixel Rohan is the codename for the watch, which may be replaced by the Google Pixel Watch when it hits the market. Alternatively, Google may give the device a more appealing marketing moniker.

Smartwatches will get Wear OS 3.1 capabilities that are only available on this wearable device, according to earlier reports. We’re referring to the fact that the watch will be compatible with the Google Assistant personal assistant, which will be able to recognize voice commands and do operations without the need for an Internet connection. This function is presently only available on a few Pixel devices.

According to reports, the smartwatch would be based on Samsung’s Exynos single-chip architecture. This platform may be known as Tensor, but they are still manufactured by Samsung.

They’ll most likely be introduced during the Google I/O 2022 conference in May.
