David Warner, who played the evil Jon Irenicus in Baldur’s Gate 2, died at the age of 80. Warner, who was born in Manchester in 1941, had a remarkable acting career spanning seven decades and spanning cinema, television, theatre, and video games.

Warner appeared in films such as Titanic, The Omen, and Mary Poppins Returns. He earned an Emmy for his performance in the historical epic Masada in 1981.

In the world of video games, Warner reprised his role as Baldur’s Gate villain Jon Irenicus for the series’ new expansion Siege of Dragonspear in 2016.

Warner also played Morpheus in Fallout, and in Star Trek: Klingon Academy, he reprised his role as Chancellor Gorkon from Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country.

Warner died this week from a cancer-related ailment, according to BBC News.
