Babar Azam set another record by scoring his 16th century in the 84th innings of his career. Babar Azam also set a record of scoring 16 centuries in at least one innings. Before the Pakistan captain, the honor was held by Hashim Amla who scored 16 centuries in 94 innings.

Babar Azam has also become the first Pakistani to score five ODI centuries as captain. On the other hand, Imam-ul-Haq scored 298 runs in the series and got the honor of scoring the most runs in the three-match series against Australia.

Earlier, the record was held by Graham Gooch of England. He had scored 289 runs in a three-match series in 1985.
